A
Proverb (from Latin: proverbium) is a simple and concrete saying,
popularly known and repeated, that expresses a truth based on common
sense or the practical experience of humanity.
Many have
forgotten the value of the “Proverb” What was it’s purpose? What was the
reason for their existence? The older generations can remember quite a
few of these- [ A stitch in _____, The early bird gets the______.”] But
the “now generation” have very little knowledge of these...Less and less
each day... Unfortunately they reek of being “ archaic” and of course
the younger generations always see “their road” as new and different.
And yes, we were all once there.
In the definition it is “a
simple and concrete saying...” I take this to mean ”that given knowledge
or a way of thinking which was boiled down for daily use... Condensed
common knowledge which when ad-heard to and follow would delivered
success. Like a “Golden Thought Key” -when inserted in the proper place
opened the door of success. In the future I am going to attempt here to
exstreapulate the hidden gold buried within some of these sayings...And
maybe a new appreciation of their value. “Only Time Well Tell” ...right!

My idea of "Old School" is not about math, history, science or any other subject you associate with any previous schooling....It’s is in essence simply about “living”....rather broad subject...Not as much as you might think...as we are all human beings....commonalities beyond measure!
So the first thing I will say about "Old School" is: It is a celebration
of our commonalities. What do we all need? What do we all want?....and
the key word is all. As much as we are all different we are all very much the same. This is not some lofty philosophy... It is the very essence of what is required...Hence to continue living here on earth one is required to do certain things lest he die.
And so I end with a question...because life for humans is first a colabortive process...What are the basic requirements and how do we share them?
